To us, sustainable apparel goes beyond materials. It involves traceability, ethical sourcing, and thoughtful design to improve recyclability.
We consider every stage in a garment's life cycle, from its origins to its journey post-use. We focus on low-impact materials, responsible manufacturing, and enduring designs that maximize use and minimize waste.
Materials
Our ‘conventional’ fiber use is at an all-time low, making up less than 1% of our fiber footprint. We’re actively working to phase this out so that we can reach our goal of using only 100% preferred fibers.
Product Circularity
In a world where 85% of clothes end up in landfills and less than 1% are recycled, and less than 1% are recycled, producing our products using responsible factories and materials is not enough. There’s an urgent need to build a more circular fashion system that keeps resources in use, reduces pressure on natural systems to supply raw materials, and helps shift the industry towards net-zero carbon emissions and is why we launched Circularity by tentree in 2022.
In 2024 our customers returned over 16,440 items, equivalent to around 845kg of textiles diverted from landfills.

Supply Chain Traceability
In 2024, we continuously worked with our suppliers to gain further traceability and transparency around our fiber country of origin. Just over 92% of our fiber (by weight) can be traced to its country of origin. As we gain greater transparency of our supply chain, we are looking to implement the Textile Exchange’s Materials Impact Explorer in addition to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Risk Filter. This allows for more textile-specific data and can help inform our sourcing decisions using location-specific data.
